SWINE BREEDER

The breeder will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the farm's swine breeding program to improve genetic quality, reproductive performance, productivity, health, and the herd's overall characteristics.

• The breeder will apply professional knowledge of animal husbandry, genetics, reproduction, and swine production to select breeding stock, plan appropriate matings, evaluate reproductive and offspring performance, monitor the health and condition of breeding animals throughout the reproductive cycle, and maintain accurate breeding and pedigree records.

• Requirements: - University degree in Animal Science, Animal Husbandry, Animal Production, Veterinary Medicine, or a related agricultural field providing academic training in animal breeding, genetics, reproduction, animal health, etc. -

• No extensive experience required; a few months in the role is sufficient. -

• Offered salary: $45,000 per year for a 40-hour workweek;

• position located in Indiana. -

• Professional license/certification. -

• Basic English proficiency (not mandatory). -
